Peter serves as a local, regional, and national coordinating counsel for clients involved in a variety of toxic torts, personal injury defense, product liability, and consumer contract litigation matters. In asbestos-related litigation he has an extensive track record representing manufacturers, premise owners, and contractors through all phases of litigation including initial assessment and investigation, discovery, motion practice, case strategy, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), trial, and appeal.

Peter’s practical experience has earned him a reputation as a knowledgeable speaker on critical legal trends and developments. He is a regular presenter at client groups and industry conferences on witness deposition strategies, including topics relating to current litigation and trial advocacy trends.
He is a member of the Minnesota State and Ramsey County Bar associations, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the Haws-KM management committee. In 2022, Peter was named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list. Peter is active in the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice organization and committed to supporting the career advancement of attorneys of color and other minority groups in the Twin Cities.
Born and raised in Iowa, he graduated from the Creighton University School of Law after obtaining his B.A. in Political Science from St. John’s University in Minnesota.
