Haws-KM Announces New Era of Leadership

Law firm Haws-KM is pleased to announce that Krista Pezewski and Pete Wanning have been elected equity shareholders.

Krista and Pete join Daniel Haws, Bill Moran, and Todd Koebele as equity shareholders. This announcement solidifies the next generation of the firm’s leadership and positions Haws-KM to continue serving clients across the country in product liability, toxic tort, insurance, and other complex litigation matters.

As a trial lawyer, Krista represents a wide range of businesses— including household names in agriculture and home appliance manufacturing as well as small businesses and individuals in product liability, transportation, and business litigation matters. She is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers and is actively involved with the Defense Research Institute where she most recently was appointed Co-Chair of the Agricultural, Construction, Mining, and Industrial Equipment Specialized Litigation Group for the Product Liability Committee.

Krista served for many years in the Minnesota National Guard, including a deployment to Kuwait. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law.

Peter serves as a local, regional, and national coordinating counsel for clients involved in a variety of toxic torts, personal injury defense, product liability, and consumer contract litigation matters. He has an extensive track record defending businesses in asbestos-related litigation representing manufacturers, premise owners and contractors through all phases of litigation, alternative dispute resolution and appeal.

Peter is active in Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, an organization committed to supporting the career advancement of attorneys of color and the Defense Research Institute. He earned his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law.
