Maya enjoys developing strategies and goals with her clients and communicating effectively to achieve those goals. She has participated in several civil jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Maya also enjoys crafting creative and compelling legal arguments through briefing in state and federal courts.

She received her J.D., cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she participated in the Energy and Environmental Competition Moot Court team and served as a staff member and editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Maya received her B.S., summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she majored in political science and participated on the mock trial team. During law school, Maya worked as a law clerk at Haws-KM and gained invaluable experience sharpening her persuasive writing and in-depth researching skills. She has been a critical part of our litigation team ever since.
