Sarah represents clients in a range of product liability, transportation, and insurance related matters. She has handled a variety of defense no-fault, personal injury, subrogation, minor settlement, property damage, and wrongful death claims across the country. She has significant experience throughout the lifecycle of litigation. She is skilled at drafting pleadings and written discovery, conducting and defending depositions, mediating matters and litigating cases.

More About Sarah

Throughout her career, Sarah has built and cultivated relationships with claims personnel in the industry. She knows how to efficiently address legal questions arising throughout the life of a claim to save her clients time and money. She is well versed in the specific areas of motor vehicle law, negligence, and subrogation for use in handling case files.

She is often invited to present on the latest developments in state law to fellow attorneys and in-house legal and insurance departments. Before joining the firm, Sarah was staff counsel for a large insurance company. The lessons learned during that experience inform Sarah’s strategic decision making in defense of her clients. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Jana Austad in Cass County, Minnesota.

Sarah is licensed to practice in Minnesota and Iowa. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law and her B.A. in history from the University of Northern Iowa. While in law school, Sarah served as an associate editor and senior articles editor of the Hamline Law Review.

Outside of the Office

Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading. She is a devoted sports fan and counts the night the Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 2016 as one of the greatest moments in her life.
